Gas Engineer Course

Change your life with a job ready course

This course is focused at people with no or little previous domestic gas experience that would like to start a new career as a domestic gas engineer and gain recognised UK qualifications.

Courses are split into 3 key areas; Practical (within a training centre), Theory (within a class-room environment) & Home-Study.

This course is planned to take you from a novice beginner to a fully qualified domestic gas installer, by giving you an extensive grounding in domestic gas engineering. It covers a number of ACS qualifications and BPEC Gas Foundation Certificate.

The main aim of this training course is to give you the "hands-on" knowledge and practical skills for your chosen trade, regardless of your current level of ability. This is a uniquely structured blended learning program, delivered by a combination of theory and practical skills acquisition.

The practical training is designed to complement the course – not only bringing into context the theory you have learnt at home, but also giving you the knowledge, skills and experience you need to work competently and safely in your chosen trade. Successful completion of a Domestic Gas Engineer course leads to industry recognised qualifications. The theory and practical training lead to ACS Certification.

  1. BPEC Energy Efficiency (Part L)
  2. ACS – Core Gas Safety
  3. ACS – Central Heating Boilers and Water Heaters
  4. ACS – Cookers and Hobs
  5. ACS – Space Heaters Fires
  6. ACS – Flue Gas Analysers
  7. Part P Defined Scope Electrical Qualification

Upon successful completion of the course you will have attained the knowledge, skills and qualifications needed to gain employment and work competently and safely in domestic gas engineering. Our training providers will also help you compile a portfolio of your work, should you want to go on and obtain further qualifications.
