Plumber Course

Change your life with a job ready course

You can choose from two different career options within the plumbing trades - Domestic Plumber or Professional Plumber. Each career has a different course with different qualifications.

If you are not sure which plumbing career is most suitable to you then a qualified course adviser will help you choose once you have contacted us on our ‘Get in Touch’ page .

Both courses are aimed at people with no previous plumbing experience that would like to gain a recognised UK qualification to start a new career as a plumber.

Courses are split into 3 key areas; Practical (within a training centre), Theory (within a class-room environment) & Home Study.

Each course is designed to take you from a complete beginner to a fully qualified plumber, by providing you with a thorough grounding in plumbing principles and technologies. It covers a number of qualifications from City & Guilds in Plumbing Studies & BPEC Water Supply Regulations.

The main objective of this training course is to give you the "hands-on" knowledge and practical skills for your chosen trade, regardless of your current level of ability. This is a uniquely structured blended learning program, delivered by a combination of theory and practical skills acquisition.

The practical training is designed to complement the course – not only bringing into context the theory you have learnt at home, but also giving you the knowledge, skills and experience you need to work competently and safely in your chosen trade.

On successful completion of all the aspects of the training course, you have the option to move up and complete an NVQ. This cannot be achieved at a training centre and without the underpinning knowledge, but only by completing a portfolio of diverse evidence of onsite work. Our recommended training providers offering courses in plumbing run their own construction projects which presents a unique opportunity for you to convert your City & Guilds technical qualifications into an NVQ with them in as little as 3 weeks.
